Project Overview
JP Tech fabricated and installed a new bucket for a CAT 6020 shovel at Haile Gold Mine. The project required precision machining, heavy fabrication, and on-site assembly to return the machine to working condition.
Work included:
- Building a new custom bucket for a CAT 6020
- Line-boring the stick to ensure proper fit and geometry
- Installing new bushings and hardware
- Fitting and aligning the bucket assembly
- Final welding, inspection, and finishing
- On-site install at Haile Gold Mine
The finished bucket was installed and tested successfully, returning the machine to service with improved fit, performance, and durability.
